This week we began working on our community service projects in earnest. A couple of us helped at the nursery with the kids. I spent Monday morning at the nursery and had a lot of fun. The kids are adorable and very enthusiastic and I’ve loved playing with them. After lunch we went to the work site where we all continued building the fence and expanding the community center. I had a blast building a wall and destroying another one. You can see in the attached pictures!

I am so impressed and proud of how much we have accomplished as a group so far on our projects. There is so much to do and the entire community is out helping us with the work. On Monday night after a hard day’s work, we made s’mores by the fire pit and some people from the village joined us.  Afterward I laid down on the basketball court we have within our grounds and just gazed at the stars. It was beautiful.
